How to request deletion

Choose whichever is easiest for you:

• In the app — open Profile → Help/Support and ask to delete your account, or reply to any WEBNIFY support message.
• By email — write to support@webnify.co.in from the email or with the phone number registered to your account, with the subject “Account Deletion Request”.
• By phone — call +91 70994 48221.

To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm ownership (for example, the registered phone number or email) before we process the request.

If you are a school student

School-student accounts are created and managed under your school’s authority. We will action your request together with your school; you can also ask your school administrator to remove your account directly. Your school may retain certain academic records (such as mark-sheets) where it is legally required to do so as the institution of record.

What gets deleted

• Your profile and login credentials.
• Your saved preferences, push-notification tokens and watch progress.
• Any offline downloads tied to your account (also removable by deleting them in the app).
• Personal data we hold that is no longer required for a legal or accounting purpose.

What we may retain (and why)

• Payment & invoice records for completed course purchases, kept for the period required by Indian tax and accounting law. These are retained in a minimal, access-restricted form.
• Records we must keep to comply with law or to resolve disputes / enforce our agreements.

Retained records are not used for any other purpose and are deleted once the legal retention period ends.

Timeline

We acknowledge deletion requests promptly and complete verified deletions within 30 days. Backups containing residual copies are rotated out within our standard backup cycle (up to a further 30 days), after which no copies remain except the legally-retained records described above.
